Tribute to John Lennon

Dear John,

Today marks 41 years since you have passed. You left us with your music, your chanting of peace and a promise, for we as one are stranger than many. Your music will continue to inspire us and the messages you gave us never to give in and stand up for what we believe is our right as a society, what we have deserved to have for so long. We continue to lift a candle to the sky every year since your passing, never forgetting to imagine a world where we are one, a world we stand proud for change. Your memory, John, will never forget you. You will always be our minds, hearts, and souls, for you inspire us to be passionate and bold and be proud to be different. In honor of your memory and legacy, Mike and I created Lost in the Groove to continue the words of truth and allow people to be open and have a voice together as a team. We know if you were with us here today, you would be proud of what so many of us are doing to continue what you could not. Peace to you, John.
